Every book has a happy ending...

If only life were the same in some cases. I mean i'm not trying to sound like a downer on life, but like some people don't end up finding out who killed their sister or lots of others. Here was Mr. Carvilles final attempt at killing Jim and Jennifer. He says hes a teacher at some college and gets a hold of Jim. He goes to Jims house to talk about what its like to try to track down a killer and his exprience with Jennifer. The thing that I find most interesting, and that basically saves Jim and Jennifers lives is Jennifer herself. He bravery and courage rises up to the top at the end to take down Roger. I think its really cool because she knows that its Roger right when she walks into Jims house. In the book Jennifer describes how the outside of her house reminds her of when the painter (Roger) came and kidnapped her at first. She gets this funny feeling and when she walks inside slowly she hears a voice of one that she wished to forgotten, Rogers of course. She rises to the occasision and gives a good fight. See I am not like Jennifer. I would be sooo scared to even step inside with that feeling. She is really a strong character and thats what I like about her. The thing that I really like about this book is that the weak character who suffers through so much ends up being the hero.

Creepy much

In this blog I am going to discuss all the creepy/ stalkerish things Roger Carville has done in this book. I do realize that he is a serial killer and that this is what they do, but its really crazy all the messed up stuff he has done. For starters he has killed all his people the same and around the time same time of the day, but different months of course. Another creepy thing is that he changes his identity about 4 times throughout the book. He does this so that Jim and the police do not locate him. Inyet though even with his disguses and different names, he does something that makes it obvious enough that it is him. He also follows Jennifer to Canes and takes pictures of her throughout the day and sends them to her at the end of it. They are all pictures of her being completely casual, its really creepy. He also send the pictures to Jim. He also rapes Jennifer when he kidnapps her. He uses her body as an ash tray and brands his name in her. He also goes to the library and searches the obituary for dead peoples names that he can use as his disguise name. He also send pictures to Jim of Jennifer while she is being held hostage. If I were to ever encounter someone like Roger I would be scared. Except the scariest part is I wouldn't know if it were Roger or not. Scary people these days...

Interesting...

Todays blog is going to be a letter  that im writing to Mr. Roger Carivelle. Mr. Carivelle is the serial killer.
Dear Mr. Carivelle,
Where to start, first of all, get it together. I mean I know you were sexually abused as a child and had a really messed up father and went through things most kids could never imagine, but why I use that to kill people? You say in the book that it brings you please? I will never understand how killing a local civilian who did nothing to you could bring you please by killing them. I know you were the one who killed the 4 women plus Jim's sister. It really makes me mad that you get away with this. Its making me even more angry considering your are holding Jims girlfreind hostage when she did nothing to you. Its like when I watch a movie and there is the mean character who just bugs the crap out of me and I start yelling at the tv, you're that charcter. Although i must admitt like calling Jim and being like "hey its Rog, how are ya" acting like nothing is going on i thought that was kind of clever. But I still dislike you and cannot wait until your caught and killed.

Quote

For this blog i'm going to discuss a quote that really stood out to me. Balfour said "Are you telling me hes going to get away with this?" Dante responded "No, because the more lies you tell, or the more complicated you make it, the harder it is to keep track and eventually you mess up." Why this stands out to me is because it really explains life.  Someone very close to me has lied to me for most of my life and he was caught in it because he got so caught up that he completely messed up. The fact that my grandpa wrote a quote like this is kinda convient because its kindof been my familys life story for awhile. My mom often says stuff like this about lying and stuff. And i agree completely with this statement. No matter who it is, a bad guy, a good guy, a best friend a enemey or even family. Anytime someone lies, they get caught. Its werid. I have lied before and i have gotten caught. I try to dig my way into a story and get caught. I guess thats just the way this world works. I just think this quote pretty much explains what happens when you lie pretty well. Its like what my mom says, "When you play with fire don't cry when you burn." When you constantly lie to the point of it becoming natural someones bound to catch on.
